So, its only fitting to introduce to you "MUMBLS". The 22-year old rapper is the protégé of "Bay Area" legend "Andre Nickatina", and is the latest product to emerge from "Berkeley".
"MUMBLS" recently released the video for "Parachute", and now he's releasing "Spellbound", the second single from his "Hella Novellas" mixtape dropping March 6th.
"Spellbound" picks up where "Parachute" left off, full of bluntly worded brag-raps about "MUMBLS" (oddly dark) partying prowess. You think you can party with "MUMBLS"; but really, you have no idea.
"Andre Nickatina's" young protege "MUMBLS" is a "Berkeley, California" based emcee is known for having way too good of a time, cites Dana Dane, Ghostface Killah, and Mac Dre as some of his rap influences, but "MUMBLS" also looks to Marc Bolan and David Bowie for creative spark.
Describing himself as Half-Viking and Half-Mexicano, the Nor-Cal representative brings a strangely unique style and perspective to the mic. Usually intoxicated, "MUMBLS" weaves tales of lust, drugs, and flat-out avoiding adulthood in a brutally blunt manner. His goal is to stimulate your mind while he prolongs the party.

This mix tape is filled with beats of hood-classics and it's HOOD-TASTIC!!!!! I have to say my favorite "Bay Area" mix tape and my favorite mix tape of the year. This is the blue print I'd use if I was making a mix tape, and it's free. This would probably be the one mix tape, I'd actually buy.

"Beeda Weeda", the young powerhouse from East Oakland, California, has amassed quite the impressive discography in his six-year career. He burst onto the scene with his first mixtape, "Homework", and fanned the flames with albums like "Turfology 101" and "Da Thizzness", as well as with collaborations with "E-40" and "J. Stalin".
