"J.Nolan", born "Jamar Nolan" is a 22 year old Hip-Hop artist from "Atlanta, GA" and is originally from "New Haven, CT".
Although currently unsigned, "J. Nolan" is becoming one of the south-east region's premier lyricists on the rise with his original style of mixing fluid wordplay, metaphors, and showing ability to venture into storytelling concepts, all while maintaining his signature flow that the listeners love.
"THE ARCHETYPE" EP. It consists of 5 tracks, completely produced by Reese Jones, who is an 18 year-old producer from Virginia Beach, VA and is currently attending Howard University.
"Los Rakas" might be single-handedly moving the Latino hip-hop capital of the U.S. to the Bay Area.
The "Panamanian-American" duo, comprised of cousins "Raka Rich" and "Raka Dun" (pronounced "Doon"), has been churning out a critically acclaimed fusion of hip-hop, dancehall, and folkloric-tinged bass since 2006.
Armed with recognition from "NPR" for producing one of their favorite tracks of 2011 "Vengo de Panama", as well as their new single "Pimpin' Smokin' Dro".
Taking their name from the Panamanian word "Rakataka", used to negatively describe someone from the ghetto, "Los Rakas" have set out to both inspire fellow "Rakas" by becoming successful despite their circumstances, and also to turn the current Latino hip-hop world on its head.
Past singles like "Mi Barrio", from their Panabay Twist mixtape, and "Soy Raka", which premiered on The FADER, blend the instantly recognizable slapping bass of Bay Area hip-hop with a distinctive Latin flavor that sets them apart from the pack.
Most recently, DJ Tony Touch featured the group's ode to Cali Dro, "Hierba", on his Shade 45 show and acclaimed DJ/Producer Diplo recently included "Los Rakas" in a special "Mad Decent" mix for Sirius XM series "Blow Your Head".
However, their first single of 2012 is a surprising break from "Los Rakas" signature sound. On "Pimpin' Smokin' Dro", not only do they rhyme in English, but they also bring a rare mellowed-out, club vibe to the table.
The single, with trunk-rattling sub bass, is a celebration of The Golden State's unmatched quality of Mary Jane. And if their Bay Area allegiance was to ever be questioned, it's firmly validated by West Coast rap don "E-40's" guest feature on the track, where he clearly proclaims, "I'm from the Bay and I f**k with real motherf*****s like Los Rakas".
Following "Pimpin' Smokin' Dro", which will be available as a loosie on iTunes on January 31st, is "Los Rakas" upcoming project, "Raka Love". The EP will showcase their foray into the world of R&B and will be released this Valentine's Day for free via their website, LosRakas.com. The "Panabay" duo will be releasing two videos from the "Raka Love" project starting on February 1st with "Enamorado de Ti", their popular remix of Lil Wayne's "How To Love" on the release date.

"Los Angeles" dudes "Cisum Tomorrow" and "Wes Nyle" team up for an action-packed track to the ladies. A club BANGER from their upcoming debut album, "Tomorrow's Music". Hip-hop has, time and again, proven to be a hotbed for breeding new and exciting genre offshoots, and "Cisum Tomorrow" (with Cisum – Music, spelled backwards – pronounced Kiss 'Em), is the latest to follow in that tradition.
The Los Angeles, California-based duo, comprised of "Supernova" and "Mozenraff", first met in 2009 and developed the sounds and styles of what they now call Hipno – a mashing of hip-hop and techno – shortly after. "So Sick" is a music video from "KidKing" and "AceSo", puts a staple in the Chicago music scene.
"KidKing" a young driven artist from "Chicago" demonstrates in the video that his bars are unmatchable to any upcoming artist. "KidKing" drops punch lines such as “Number 1, just cause we the shit don’t make us number 2” that leave the listener no choice but to remember this artist.
"KidKing" and "AceSo" members of Chicago’s "SICKLIFE" prove that they are a group that needs more attention for all the talent and potential each member has. “So Sick” will be released on "KidKing’s" mixtape, “King of the Jungle” and "AceSo’s" mixtape, “Minimum Wage Millionaire”.

"Reema Major" is a good contender; she participated in a BET Cypher last year at the age of fifteen, released her third mixtape in May and dropped a video, "I'm The One" last month featuring a cameo appearance by "Rick Ross".
This is what I'm talking about. Not only what the rap game needs, but the female rap game needs. "Reema Major" has flows, creativity, originality and lyrics. Yea, she's cute and trendy, but "Reema Major" is not relying on her looks, she relies on her talent to get the game shook.
"Reema" was born in 1995 in Khartoum born to a Sudanese mother and a father from Dubai. When she was young her family fled the war to Kenya and later Uganda, before moving to Canada in 1998 – most of her young life was spent moving from one place to the next. At the age of five, "Reema" was first exposed to rapping by her older cousin in Canada.
Ten years down the line, she had moved to Kansas, USA by then – her talent was exposed through radio appearances and a mix tape "Youngest in charge". She moved back to Canada, started working with Canadian management and performed at the Honey Jam, then at the 2010 BET Cypher. That same year she signed a record deal with G7/Universal/Interscope, resulting in a new mixtape and the current single "I’m The One" with its video partly shot in Miami in the presence of "Rick Ross". While "Reema" is often introduced as a Canadian artist, she’s representing her heritage to the fullest. Growing up she learned to speak Arabic and a Sudanese language, as can be heard in the intro of "These Streets".
