With rap influences like "Bone Thugz & Harmony" its easy to see how his spastic rap style uniquely sets him apart from other rappers, in and out the "Bay".

When you hear "DB Tha General" spit on any track, you know its him who wrecked that. He's rough, he's grimy, he's gutter, he's street, but he speaks the real in every lyric he leaks.

For me "DB Tha General" is like a breath of fresh air, in a time of stale rappers making slappers. He's his own dude, and aint trying to impress you with nothing but his lyrical talents. If you don't like it, believe me you're gonna love it. Once you hear "DB Tha General" he will be "Yo Favorite Rapper" making hood to hood slappers.

"DB Tha General" started slinging rhymes at the age of 8, and certainly doesn't lack for confidence or skill. He receives a sizeable degree of acclaim for his two gritty, street-smart albums "Welcome To Tha Navy" and "Yo Favorite Rapper".

Representing the "Bay Area's" struggling inner city youth culture, "DB" is the straight up no chaser, raw street artist representing his people in the "Freshmen 10". He tells it like it is, and you better believe him when he speaks," say DJ AMEN of 106 KMEL.

"Thizzler On The Roof" and "Badmouth ENT" present the "Bay's" own uncontrollable substance "DB Tha General's", mix tape "Invented GAS", hosted by "DJ Amen". With 14 tracks of 99 octane premium unleaded GAS straight out of "East Oakland", you best believe this is hood tested and block approved.

"Rick Rock" is a cool @ss dude that I went to Armijo High School with in "Fairfield, CA". I was a freshman, when he was a senior. I had one class with him and he was crazy. Even though he was short, I thought he was so cute.

Back then he told "yo mama jokes" and was the resident "beat boxer". I even think back then he was break dancing and rapping, too.

He was hella popular and friends with my brother (Leo Wright) and friends with my son's father, (J-Bone) and I've never heard anyone have a bad word to say about him, EVER. So, when he made it, it made a city proud, it made the "Bay Area" proud.

"Rick Rock" has been platinum and gold record producer since 1994, and still make'n it happen and keep'n us clap'n. His name might not be out there like other producers names, but that doesn't take away his catalog of fame. "Rick Ross" continues to be one of the most reliable and employed West Coast rap producers of his time. His first record on a major label was "Gamers" remix by the "Conscious Daughters", but "Change The Game" with "Jay-Z" was nominated for a Grammy.

"Rick Rock" began based out of (707) "Fairfield, California" (Bay Area), but has since moved to "Sacramento, CA"  but still claims "Fairfield" as home. In the early years of his career "Rick Rock" was aligned closely with "E-40", where he began earning major credits in 1996, when he contributed tracks to "2 Pac" on "All Eyez On Me" & "40's" "Hall Of Game"
.

In the years to follow, he cranked out productions mainly for West Coast rappers like "Keak Da Sneak", "Spice 1", and "Xzibit". Don't get it twisted, he was globally talented and he even worked with mainstream artists like "Will Smith", "Fabolous", "Mariah Carey", "Method Man", "Busta Rhymes" and more.

"Rick Rock" eventually signed a contract with Virgin Records to present a group of his own, called "Federation", who debuted in 2003, releasing the single "Hyphy", whose title would soon become a "Bay Area" movement. "WIth Rick Rock beats, yea, fella's I'll rock it".

Now, dropping his solo project, "Rocket", the producer/rapper has come full circle. He gives props and credit to another "Fairfield" super producer "Mike Mosely", for introducing him on the scene, and showing the do's and don'ts to be successful as a producer.

Still having aspirations of doing more, "Rick Rock" would like to work with "Lil Wayne". Notes his favorite producers are "Dr. Dre", "Timbaland", "Neptunes", "Pete Rock" and "DJ Premier". The artist who left the most lasting impression is "Left Eye", because she was extremely smart, talked sh*t, and had views on issues that were  real unique.

What's next for the super producer? Only he knows, but rather it's in front or behind the mic, it's gonna be tight!

Its my pleasure, to introduce this "West Oakland" treasure, Rapper "Anomosity" Of the
"P Coat Mafia", and a member of the
"Real Talk Movement". With his ($$) Hollo Tip Flows ($S) over beats, its no wonder why he's been dubbed as "the next voice of the streets".

What I like about "Anomosity" is that he actually has something to say. Not since the age of "Tupac" has a "Bay Area" rapper dared to be different. Dared to make a difference and rap about real issues other than "Pimp'n", "Hoes" & "Dough".

Yes, he's controversial, yes, he's hardcore with his lyrics, but you're gonna love it when you hear it. But, at the same time he's gonna educate your mind and entertain your behind. He's versatile, with a street and political style.

After living a portion of his life going in and out of jail and  prison, in  2005, "Anomosity" came to the realization that he was quickly heading towards a dead end. "Anomosity" made the decision to completely transform his life so he could be there for his family.

Through his music, "Anomosity" took the lessons he learned from the streets and turned them into a positive and knowledgeable message, that he delivers in your face at a rapid pace.

"Anomosity" tries to serve as a source of inspiration and wisdom by keeping "GOD" first and keeping "GOD" as his source of strength. He exudes and embodies a philosophy of hope, and remains focused on redirecting misguided youth, to help them see the brutal realities of the street, and to work hard in achieving all of their goals, because they ARE worth it.

"Anomosity's" career is just starting to take off and the future is full of endless opportunities. Along with his "P Coat Mafia" he's working on CD production, in the close future.

He feels blessed to have such a versatile team, which he launched, within "P.CoatMafia" (I.N.C.) and is using their versatility to his advantage, to take over the rap game and make a change.

"Anomosity's" debut 19 track album "Prizonology_Political Affiliation" is available on iTunes, and he is currently working on his first mixtape

"Ain't No Beat Safe".

The future is looking bright for "Anomosity", who is  driven by a wonderful purpose, along with everyone supporting him, the possibilities are endless!

Smarter than your average rapper, "Anomosity", wants to do more, be more and have more, so he plans on enrolling in school after completion of his mixtape to study business, and music marketing. Eventually he would like to star in a movie that he co-writes and co-produces.

Even though he is a dreamer, "Anomosity" is a credible illustration proving that if we continue to keep "GOD" first and make the right choices, for the right reasons,....anything is possible.

Born "Demar Bernstein", in Vallejo, Ca in 1979 and later host to the name "Turf Talk".  Growing up in Pomona at the age of 3 years old, lead "Turf Talk" to a lifestyle of gang involvement and hustling. Due to his actions, he faced lots of trouble and became expelled from school.

His parents chose to
home school "Turf Talk", and during this time, he began to emulate the rappers by writing his own verses. He soon learned that he had a talent for writing music.

As his
cousin Earl Stevens AKA E-40, Danell Stevens AKA D-Shot, Brandt AKA B-Legit and Tenina Stevens AKA Suga-T were building The Click. This group ultimately became the foundation for "Sic Wid It Records" .

"
Turf Talk" admired the ambitions of his Northern Cali Family and had early aspirations to join the First Family of Rap.

After living in hotel rooms for four to five years, "Turf Talk" returned to Vallejo in (1999) and began to pursue his rap career.

Upon returning to school, "
Turf Talk" was encouraged by family and friends to enter a school talent show: where he would become the Grand Prize Winner.  It was from this point forward that he had confidence enough to ask E-40 for his assistance.

Originally rapping under the name "Killa Kane", "Turf Talk" would first appear alongside Mac Shawn, another younger cousin of E-40, on the compilation CD "Worldwide Bosses" & "Playas" (2001). His breakthrough came in (2003) performing the hook for the "MTV"-aired E-40 track "Gasoline", (B-side) to the single "One Night Stand".

On July 30, 2005 The Champ hit the stage when the MC called his name as the winner of "The Rookie of the Year" at the B.A.R. Awards on July 30, 2011 at the Masonic Center on Nob Hill. The competition included Bay Area Rap Artists: Vital, Mark D, Mr. Tower, YA Boy, Mistah FAB, Nasty Nate and Dem Hood Stars.

In the booming "Bay Area" Hip Hop scene, "Turf Talk" has achieved the championship belt. The man behind hits "Its ah Slumper" and "Sav Out" and his colab with "The Federation" on "Hyphy" is noted all around the region, even in New York.

In the early hours of July 14, 2005, "Turf Talk" suffered several shots to the face from a low caliber pellet shotgun, after being apparently targeted leaving a recording studio in Vallejo. He was treated at the Sutter Solano Medical Center and made a quick and full recovery.

"Turf Talk" would go on to appear on three tracks on E-40's (2003) album Breakin News as well as cement his growing reputation in the Bay Area's new movement by guesting in style on the official remix to The Federation's hit "Hyphy".

In (2004) "Turf Talk" released his highly anticipated debut album "The Street Novelist" featuring his mentor E-40, The Federation and a range of Sick Wid It Records' artists. The CD included the Rick Rock's produced smash "It's Ah Slumper" and one of the final guest appearances of Mac Dre.

In (2006) "Turf Talk" secured further exposure by appearing on E-40's  Billboard 200 success story "My Ghetto Report Card" as well as MTV's "Hyphy Music Insight My Block: The Bay". His influence on the "Hyphy"  movement was featured in Hip Hop magazines "The Source" & "XXL"

In the summer of (2006) "Turf Talk" extended his cross-genre, national and international reputation after being invited to feature on the DJ Shadow V music video alongside Keak Da Sneak , as well as a supporting role in a tour of Europe and Japan.

The tour climaxed with a performance in front of over 25,000 at the Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park on June 23. "Turf Talk" appeared alongside Bay Area emcees Mistah Fab and Nump, in a line-up which included Massive Attack, Pharrell, Gnarls Barkley and Damian Marley.

When I first heard these dudes, I swear I wanted to be down with their crew, cuz I love how they do what they do. Oakland dudes, The "Trunk Boiz", are best known for their hit songs "Cupcake No Filling", "Scraper Bikes", "Don't Act Like A B*tch".

B*Janky, Filthy Fam, Artis, 2Deep, Reece da Beast, Yung Juice, Alexander tha Grate, and A Mac Named Sir are the 8 dudes that make up this crew the "Trunk Boiz".

“Your name’s been ringin’. I want to do some music with you.” That’s what multiplatinum rap icon Too $hort said when he approached the Trunk Boiz in 2010. By “ringin’,” $hort was referring to the fact that the Trunk Boiz, an up-and-coming Oakland rap outfit and viral video sensation, managed to capture millions of YouTube hits and sell thousands of tracks on the web and the hand-to-hand underground market. That’s precisely that kind of hustle that put Oakland on the rap map back in the eighties, when Too $hort went “ghetto gold” with virtually no radio airplay, selling over 50,000 albums out of the trunk of his car.

The Trunk Boiz (an acronym for Trunk Rattlin’ Unique Non-Stop Knock) are carrying on that hard-hustle tradition into the digital age. They’re probably best known for their song and video “Scraper Bike,” a bonafide global sensation with four million YouTube views and counting. The video garnered the group a YouTube Award nomination in 2007 and coverage in the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Momentum bike magazine, Telemundo’s MUN2.com and Bay Area Fox affiliate KTVU. They also appeared on their bikes in high-profile music videos for Kafani’s hit “Fast Like Nascar” and The Federation’s “18 Dummy.”

Just what exactly is a “Scraper Bike”? It’s an underground phenomenon, shot straight from the ‘hood into cyberspace. The Trunk Boiz started the trend when they decided to trick their bikes out in classic Oakland style, complete with candy paint, flashy rims, and knockin’ speakers. They wrote an ode to their customized rides, and the legend began. Now everyone from the street-corner hustler to the fixed-gear hipster wants to floss on a scraper bike.
It’s this trendsetting,
enterprising spirit that sets the Trunk Boiz apart. Harnessing their underground clout, the Trunk Boiz run their own entertainment company, G.N.D.T.—an acronym for “Gorillas N Da Trunk.” The name is fitting because, according to group member B-Janky, if you bang a Trunk Boiz beat in your car, it sounds quite literally like “wild animals knocking in yo trunk.”

That’s the energy
Too $hort wanted to tap into in 2010, when he lent a verse to the Trunk Boiz track “Don’t Act Like a B!tch,” a ‘hood homage to $hort’s famous catchphrase. That partnership landed the Trunk Boiz an opening slot at the KMEL Summer Jam that year, performing to an Oakland Arena crowd of over 30,000! (It’s a complicated chain of events, but it began when Too $hort recorded a more radio-friendly version of the song with fellow rap legend E-40, who scored a hit with it and later released a remix featuring 50 Cent. Now Too $hort and the Trunk Boiz are frequent collaborators.)

Of the
Trunk Boiz sound, B-Janky attests, “We make feel-good music. But we’re versatile.” Although they came up in the high-spirited Bay Area music and dance scene known as the “hyphy movement,” the Trunk Boiz can’t be pigeonholed. One of their most popular tracks, “Cupcake No Fillin’,” is more a slow jam than a club burner, generating its own heat in the streets, particularly among the ladies. To date, it’s sold over 20,000 units.

As rappers, producers, community activists, and entrepreneurs, the Trunk Boiz are as diverse as they are versatile, representing ‘hoods all over Oakland and beyond. The group stands as a rare unified front that transcends turf antagonisms, with members from East, West, and North Oakland and throughout theBay Area. The "Trunk Boiz" consist of the eight member collective, B*Janky, Filthy Fam, Artis, 2Deep, Reece da Beast, Yung Juice, Alexander tha Grate, and A Mac Named Sir.

Whether by blood or by association, the "Trunk Boiz" are family business. Those far-reaching family ties allow them to roll into any of Oakland’s roughest neighborhoods and attract welcoming crowds. For street-team promotions, they often “ride around Oakland twenty-deep with the bass in the speakers,” selling CDs “out the trunk” of a customized three-wheel scraper bike. You can’t get much more Oakland than that.

"Jovan Smith", better known in and out the "Bay" as, "J. Stalin",  is one of the hottest rappers in the "Bay Area", coming live and direct from "Oakland, Ca". "J. Stalin" grew up in the "Cypress Village"  housing projects in "West Oakland". Not unlike many youth in "West Oakland" "J. Stalin" did not grow up rich, and he always had a thirst for money.

"J. Stalin" at a young age learned that making his own money, was the only money to make. As a young child he began selling candy bars on the "BART" trains. At 13, he began to record and sell rap music, and this began his love for music and money. Unfortunately, he began to sell drugs in his neighborhood, got caught, and at the age of 17 spent eleven months on parole and doing weekends at the "Juvenile Hall" for a year.It was here that "Stalin" began to realize that there was money to be had, and he picked up a pen and a pad and began to create an arsenal of demos, that would eventually end up in the hands of "Richie Rich".

"J. Stalin", may have a young and boyish-look, but on the mic, you will get shook. "J. Stalin" came up with his rap name from dictator, "Joseph Stalin", because they shared the same initials, was shot call'n and was an all around beast, who was feared, loved and respected by many. As "Stalin" says when asked how and why he jose the name, "He was short like me, but he was always smashin' on everybody".

"J. Stalin's" big break came from "DJ Daryl", who is the
owner of a local recording studio. "DJ Daryl" slapped "J.Stalin" on a track, "Bay Area" rap veteran, "Richie Rich", heard it, and was impressed enough to put "J. Stalin" on three tracks in his 2002 album "Nixon Pryor Roundtree". "J. Stalin" became a member or "Richie Rich's" group called "The Replacement Killers", and went on to record several tracks on two more of "Richie Rich's" albums.

Chosen by "E-40" and "Too Shoort" as the "Next Big Thing Out Of The Bay", "Stalin" began to record and perform with "Bay Area" heavy hit'n artists such as "G-Stack", "Beeda Weeda", "Keak Da Sneak" "San Quinn", "E-40", "The Luniz, "The Team", "The Frontline", "Mob Figaz", "Yukmouth", "Numskull", "Shock G", "Jacka" "Yukmouth" and many others.

By 2006 "J. Stalin"  had released roughly 7 mixtapes and had four releases scheduled for 2007. "Mekanix" and "Zoo Entertainment" released "Stalin's" first studio album called "On Behalf of the Streets" in early May 2007, which arrived just as the "Bay’s"-"Hyphy" movement was fading away and turning into a more dirty and more street-level sound that was dubbed “Go.” By the release of "Gas Nation", in 2008, he had become a local hero, but on a national level his name was only known by hip-hop heads. But now, this all changed a year later when his collaborative effort with "Guce" on "Giants and Elephants", plus a new solo album, "Prenuptial Agreement", which both made waves. But the ones that took him around the park, and smacked him off da charts, was his hit singles "Rock Day", "Birthday" & "Try Again Tomorrow".

"J. Stalin" is the President of "Town Thizzness", which is a sub-division of the late "Mac Dre's" company called "Thizz ENT". Seeing that you make more money by calling the shots, he became owner of his own record label called "Livewire Records". "Stalin" is also the front man in his group, "Livewire Da Gang". The "Livewire Gang" consists of many artists from various neighborhoods in North, East, and West Oakland. With a heavy hitter roster with "Shady Nate", "Jay Jonah", "Philthy Rich", "Stevie Joe", "Lil Rue", "Lil Blood", "R.O.B.", "Ronald Mack", "Kiwi Da Beast", "HD", "L Jay", "Ant Mack", "Ruben Stunner", "Will Da Thrill", "Maj Guttah" and "Mayback", they just can't come whack!

Originally from "Richmond, California", "Transparent" is currently residing in "Fairfield, California". He is a Bishop O'Dowd High School and Fresno State University Alumni with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development. In November 2005, "Transparent" began to follow two callings that God had placed on his life. The first, ministering the gospel through music, and the second, starting his own non-profit Christian organization called "On Purpose Inc.," designed to cater to the youth of both Contra Costa and Solano County. While living in Richmond, he was actively involved in volunteer work at the Coronado YMCA and in 2006 he was honored with the "Volunteer of the Year" award from The West Contra Costa YMCA. From 2006-2008, "Transparent" held positions with Alternative Family Services as a case manager/Independent Living Skills Specialist for foster care and adoption children. His dual passions for children and spreading the Word of God are what fuel's his determination to live his life in an upright and "Transparent" way.

In 2007 "Transparent" began taking over the gospel music scene by storm. In March, he won the American Christian Talent Search and in June he participated in the CMA. Nearly two years later on January 27th, 2009, "Transparent" released his eagerly awaited debut album "L.I.F.E."(Living In Favor Everyday), which has been globally recognized. In September 2009, "L.I.F.E" was released in Australia followed by a two-week promotional tour (his third tour in Australia). While touring he was privileged to minister in Melbourne and Brisbane Australia. On November 21st, 2009, "Transparent" performed live in front of 11,000 spectators, plus the millions who viewed this on the SHOWTIME network. On this special night, "Transparent" brought to the ring the Super Middleweight Boxing Champion Andre "SOG" Ward, with his worship/rap anthem "The GREATEST".

Today, "Transparent" has ministered at approximately 250 different venues across the world (Churches, Cruises, High Schools, Colleges, Talent shows, and Award shows). Every Sunday, he currently ministers to the youth and guards at the Solano County Juvenile Hall and uplifts and inspires them through his music. Along with his dedication to empowering youth, "Transparent" also uses the medium of television to present the gospel. He is the Co-Host/ Presenter for Fusemix T.V. During the Gospel Music Awards Week 2009, "Transparent" interviewed artist: "Canton Jones", "Michelle Bonilla", "J.R.", "Vlada", "Norman Hutchins" and "Cowboy Dan".

Wherever you find "Transparent", be it ministering through music, sharing his life on "Transparent T.V." or just speaking into the lives of the youth he encounters, it is relevant that throughout these great accomplishments, his focus remains the same, which is to "Advance the Kingdom one second at a time."

"In It To Win It" was "Young Win's" 5th solo album to be released. "In It To Win It" is hosted by "Big Von" & "DJ Mere".

At a time when winning in the rap game is next to impossible, "Young Win" is tucking victories under his belt. "San Francisco, Ca"  born but "Rodeo" bred, "Young Win" first grabbed the microphone at the age of 15 and hasn’t looked back. As a true 80s baby, "Young Win’s" distinctive style was cultivated during the era known for the most significant inner-city saturation of drugs and murder. Reflecting his experience in the streets, "Young Win’s"  delivery embodies that of "Bay Area" hip-hop culture.

"Young Win" took his craft to the next level with the release of his street albums “Money on my Mind,” and “Losing is not an Option,” hosted by "DJ Mind Motion". Following the radio play and success from singles “Bout My Chips,” featuring "Big Rich", and “We Winnin,” "Young Win" gained recognition among peers and fans alike. Working with heavyweights like "Zaytoven", "MIMS", "The Jacka", "Big Rich", "Dem Hoodstarz", "Kafani" and "San Quinn" has continued to establish a buzz while carving his own niche in the "West Coast" hip-hop.

With a work ethic that can’t be stifled, "Young Win"  founded his company, "Black Royalty Entertainment". As CEO, "Young Win" oversees artist development and production. The response from the launch of his late '09 street album “Death Before Dishonor,” created the platform to introduce the video for “And This is Why.”

"Young Win" released his third street album “2000-Win: The Year of the Takeover” in July of 2010. In preparation for his debut album, "Young Win" his released "In It 2 Win It" hosted and mixed by "Big Von" on April 19, 2011. "Young Win" and "Big Von" are preparing the sequel album “Young Winning” with a early summer releae date. "Win’s" debut album, “Born to Win,” is scheduled to drop late 2011.

"Young Win’s" music is available in independent music stores or via the web on itunes.com and amazon.com.

The "Bay Area" Group
"The Propane Gang"
"Kitty Kat" & "Propane Bounce"
Off New Album "In My Zone"

Picture
"The Propane Gang", is a "Bay Area" group who started back in 2005, but was known then as the "Town Boyz". Group members "A.O.B.", "Franchi$e", "Nadi-B", & "Aveezy" went from recording in their own personal studios, to working with "Original", who started his own record company, called "Galaxy Productions".

In 2006 "Original" helped the "Fire-N-Squad" put together a album, that never got released, due to personal reasons,it was always one thing or the other that would hold the group back from dropping a project. But, fortunately in 2007 the "Town Boyz" decided to do a compilation, under "Galaxy Productions", with the help of the "Young Hustlaz", "The Show Stoppas", "Sinatra","Nathan Nice" and "Champ Green".

At the end of 2007 "Town Boyz" decided to take a road trip towards Seattle, to sell their music, which was a successful trip. But, once again, due to group disagreements, the "Town Boyz" broke apart and everyone started to do their own projects, except "A.O.B" & "Aveezy".  The two knew that had something hot in their hands, so they decided to keep making music together, and teamed up with super producer "Nathan Nice".

"Nathan Nice",  was actually the one who came up with name of the group "Tha Fire-N-Squad". On a new mission with some new conditions, "Fire-N-Squad" set up the block, to burn it down with knocks. "Fire-N-Squad" began to collaborate with the "Bay's" "Beeda Weeda" on a song called "G-Thang", that received a lot of positive feedback, in and out of the hood, which was the start of something good. Together they dropped an album and added "Ray Ruthless" to the group.

Continuing to stand tall and withstanding it all, swag'n through the ups-n-downs, "Aveezy" and "A.O.B" continued to keep the flame lit, with the help of "Nathan Nice" and "Ray Ruthless", got the the "Fire-N-Squad" hot and ready to drop knocks.

"Fire-N-Squad" is set to release their trendsetting music that will have the world looking at rap groups differently, by showing what teamwork, talent and persistence can do, in what they do.

"In My Zone" is the soon to be released album, and has features from "Universal Motown's" artist "London", "The Bay's", "Young Gully", "AB" of "Tha Young Hustlaz","Dre" from "3oak" and more!

"Keep your flame lit, cuz the "Propane Gang", is dropping hits.
