MAN!!!! "Public-Public-Public Enemy" is back, like they never left."I Shall Not Be Moved" gives hope like dope. If you're too young and don't know about "Public Enemy" you better find out about em. "Chuck D" & "Flavor Flav" are pioneers and political revolutionaries in the rap game.

"Public Enemy" revolutionized the hip-hop world with its political, social and cultural consciousness, which infused itself into skilled and poetic rhymes with raucous sound collages as a foundation. Prior to PE, political hip-hop was confined to a few tracks by Ice-T, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, and KRS-One, as well as prototypical artists such as Gil Scott-Heron and the Last Poets. PE was the first hip-hop act to base its entire image around a political stance. With the success of Public Enemy, hip-hop was suddenly flooded with new artists that celebrated Afrocentric themes, such as Kool Moe Dee, Gang Starr, X Clan, Eric B. & Rakim, Queen Latifah, the Jungle Brothers, and A Tribe Called Quest. In the 1991 movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day, John Connor (Edward Furlong) wears a Public Enemy t-shirt throughout the entire movie, exhibiting its influence even in mainstream venues.

"SWV" is back and the did not come whack!!!! I love it. You can tell that their voices and song content have matured. They're current with the sound of the times, while still be able to recapture their old skool sound and feel, which I am very happy about.

So many artist try to do everyone else, when they're dusting them self off and jumping off the shelf. If you love-love, get this album "I Miss Us", it covers love from every angle.

"R. Kelly
"Share My love
(Official Video)

Picture
Even with a "golden shower" "R. Kelly" still manages to grow flowers. There is just something about him. God truly blessed him with a talent.

"Share My Love" is cool, but I'm not sprung on it. It's some grown and sexy type atmosphere that exudes from the lyrics and beat that will definitely make you want to move your feet, but at the same time, this "R. Kelly" is not the "R. Kelly" that I love. This sounds like "Step-Step-Side-To-Side", which is cool, but I want to hear a little "Bump N Grind". (lol)

"Monica" Ft. "Wale
"Take A Chance

Picture
Ummmm, not really feeling this. Ya'll know "Monica" is my girl, so I didn't think I was taking a chance when I  began listening to "Take A Chance", but nothing about it made me want to dance. It sounds like one of them inspirational songs for a movie sound track. Didn't feel the love and it didn't make feel like getting some nub.

Man, this just wasn't right. I was expecting something sweet and sexy and it tuned out to be some techno crap!!! I hate music right now, for real. I hate all this techno crap. "Toni Braxton" is an icon in the game, but it looks like she turned her channel to lame.

"Plies" is back with something new boo. I don't think he's ever going to get the spotlight back and get the industry smoke'n like crack. "Medicine" with "Keri Hilson" is the last hit he's had in like what 2009
