"On his latest effort, it is clear Tranz has made a great decision, because
as you will hear AWKWORD and Tenacity have a bevy of impressive lyrics to display atop his uber-smooth beat. Tenacity kicks off the track with a filling 16, covering topics from body image to his history as a battle rapper.

Leave enough room for AWKWORD, though, whose deep-voiced, powerful delivery anchors the cut, powering through to the end of this very well-rounded, complete jam."

For a group that made fans wait 15 years to drop their official debut album, MHz Legacy certainly supplied plenty of new content, music, and videos since. Dropping all the way back in October of last year, MHz Legacy – the crew comprised of rappers Copywrite, Tage Future, Jakki Da Motamouth, and Camu Tao, along with producer RJD2 – not only hosted a special remix contest for the fan-favorite single "Yellow + Blue," they've also released a string of new videos, the latest of which is for another fan-favorite, and one of the biggest songs from the album, "Satisfaction."

The song, which features Slug (of Atmosphere) and is produced by
RJD2, is one of the most fun on the album, driven forward by a beat by RJD2 that could be considered nothing less than funky, the two emcees, Copy and Slug, trade equally fun verses, with Copy dropping references to De La Soul while Slug takes a moment to shout out Bon Iver. The video, premiered this afternoon by SPIN and directed by Snow Rowe, offers a straightforward yet effected clip that gives a nice, warm throwback feel.

"Hello Love" (F.U.) Remix

Twitter: @NyemiahSupreme

"Some people call it ‘Valentine’s Day'. I call it ‘Thursday'," says Queens, New York native Nyemiah Supreme. It's been a whole year and somehow it snuck up on us again: V-Day is here.
For some, it’s a day full of excitement, gifts, romance, sweet-nothings whispered, and love songs sung. For the rest of us, maybe some time on the couch, a bottle of Merlot, a pint of Ben & Jerry’s, and the boob tube. If you happen to claim the latter, you'll be happy to hear about a new remix by T.Rone and Nyemiah Supreme.

T.Rone, a Jacksonville, Florida singer and rapper Nyemiah Supreme have teamed up to release "F U Love," a remix to T.Rone's recently released single "Hello Love," which has gotten over 500 spins at Urban and Rhythm radio stations across the country. The track, while short and sweet, tells a story about a man, who is seduced by and marries a woman who ends up killing him and taking his money "just to be a thousandaire." Merp.

Everyone who has seen him perform is drawn in by his beaming charisma and lovable nature.Upon graduating high school KYLE dove into music, experimenting to find his own sound. "Super Duper" was just that. A full-length project, produced entirely by KYLE and his good friend Dave Cappa in KYLE's grandmother's house. Via YouTube and the internet in general KYLE's playful rap flow, impressive melodies, and creative music videos have gained him fans of all shapes and sizes all over the globe.

"Intro to "HIP BOP" (The Not So Brilliant Corners)
(Official Video)

Twitter: @OheneSavant

Written, produced, and directed by O’hene Savànt, “Not So Brilliant Corners” is the first installment of O'hene's introduction of the culture known as “HipBop,” or the Urban Classical Movement. Taking musical syncretism far beyond what most think of as jazz/hip-hop fusion, O’hene does not merely sample and loop the legends of the past, nor is he satisfied with only inviting instrumentalists to recreate a traditional hip-hop beat. Instead, Savànt lyrically dances with the music, using his voice in accord with the instrumentation – drawing on both his songwriting and music arrangement skills. Remaining true to the traditions of American
classical music (jazz) and American urban contemporary music (hip-hop), this
what O'hene describes as, "ghetto fine arts". Always striving to be forward
looking, he is the evolvement.

The “I Am HipBop” movement began in earnest in 2011 with O’hene Savànt’s James Mtume influenced “I Am Ohene.” As he explained to NPR’s Dick Gordon, “There are boundary that we face as rappers in hip-hop. I understand now the need to step out of [these] boundaries.” Since such time, HipBop, as a movement, has extended to visual arts (through the works of Al B. Art, Blue Robin, Nilé Livingston, and Nayria Leon, to name a few) as well as academia (through the lectures and writings of scholars such as Dr. James Peterson of Lehigh University and Prof. Jemayne King of Johnson C. Smith University). These musicians, artists, writers, and scholars have formed a collective to promote the ideals of urban intellectualism.

"Cunning Space"

Twitter: @spacedoutjuven

Juven is gaining recognition, as an independent artist, performing at shows, networking with major representatives, and landing production placements. He is
presently working on his solo album and has a radio single, “Freakshow,”
currently in rotation on 89.5 KOPN in Columbus, Missouri.

“Juven”, Lee Edward Adams Jr., was born in Almeda, CA, on June 12, 1986. Juven and his mother moved to Bogalusa, LA, in 1993. At the age of 13, he discovered Hip Hop. Immediately after he heard Busta Rhymes’
album, “When Disasters Strikes” he knew his calling, and began writing lyrics straightaway. At the age of 16, Juven recorded his first full length album using only the microphone that came packaged with an old model Compaq computer, at the time DAWs was not accessible to him, so Juven had to perfect his flow and record whole songs in just one take.

Even with the hindrance of outdated equipment, Juven’s album shined
because of his unique voice, style, and passion. He sold hundreds of
his CDs throughout the small town of Bogalusa. Fueled by this success, he sent his album to various major labels, such as Star trak and No Limit Records. Universal Records attempted to contact him, his mother, however, intercepted these calls, his completion of High School being her main priority.

Juven now resides in Houston, TX. At 24 years old, he is vigorously
pursuing his dream of Hip Hop. As a producer, Juven has been crafting his beats for 7 years. In 2009, he landed his first major song and production placement with the former DJ of Shadyville & G-unit records, DJ Green Lantern, “Myspace Invasion Pt. 5”.

Recently he has worked with DJ Thomas handsome of Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, DJ Sense of Gangsta Grillz & Aphilliates, and DJ Debias also of Gangsta Grillz & Aphilliates. He has also been approached by Rawle Stewart; Twista’s manager, about beat production. He has been featured on internet radio stations Dumb Up Radio on Fleet DJ and Dumb Up Motahiphop.com, as well.

Juven has set his sights on his goal, he is driven, and he will pursue his dream to its unmitigated conclusion. The time has come, and Juven
is ready to debut his talent to the world.
