Dang, every time a brother tries to move ahead he gets pushed from behind. "Chris Rock" is being sued by an Los Angeles woman claiming he stole her idea for his documentary, "Good Hair". Regina Kimball filed suit last week in Los Angeles where she states she showed her 2005 documentary, "My Nappy Roots": A Journey Through Black Hair-itage when she was on the set of his “Everyone Hates Chris” two years ago.
Kimball’s documentary opens her dialog with Vivica A. Fox, Malcolm Jamal-Warner and Kim Fields about the social and cultural importantance of black hairstyles. Sounds like the same concept that "Chris Rock" seeks in his documentary. Kimball is suing for $5 million dollars.
