MVP Hideki Matsui who was supposedly playing his last game as a Yankee also displayed an amazing performance with six RBI's.

Hideki Matsui continued to play despite his knees being swollen with fluids and still doubled and singled in Game 6, highlighting a Series in which he hit .615 with three home runs and eight RBIs.

Alex Rodriguez with 583 home runs, twelve all-stars appearances, three MVP awards, is all good and Hall Of Fame Worthy but Rodriguez has never one a World Series till now.

The Yankees parade 2009 will start at the Battery Place in Broadway and will continue to the Chambers Street. The heroes of the day, Derek Jetter, Alex Rodriguez and the rest of the team will be treated to showers of confetti all along the route. The procession will lead up to the City Plaza. There, the team will be presented the key to the city, by NY Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg.
