"Willie The Kid" drops a video for "Waste Not, Want Not", which was produced by "Alchemist".
"Waste Not Want Not", is actually the song that "Drake" was referring to when he named "Michigan" rapper, "Willie The Kid", as one of the "hottest emcees" with "Amazing Bars" on "MTV".
"William Jackson" (born in 1982), better known by his stage name "Willie the Kid", is a rapper from "Grand Rapids, Michigan". He is most famous for being "DJ Drama's" protege and appearing on both "DJ Drama's" albums "Gangsta Grillz: The Album" and "Gangsta Grillz: The Album: Vol 2" as well as "Lil Wayne's" "Dedication 2" and "Dedication 3" mix tape. He is the younger brother of the "Wu-Tang Clan" affiliate "La The Darkman" He released his debut album, "Absolute Greatness", in September 2008. And now with his mix tape "#The Crates", "Willie The Kid" shows he's more than a passing fad, he's going to be a "Hip-Hip" grad.

With rap influences like "Bone Thugz & Harmony" its easy to see how his spastic rap style uniquely sets him apart from other rappers, in and out the "Bay".
When you hear "DB Tha General" spit on any track, you know its him who wrecked that. He's rough, he's grimy, he's gutter, he's street, but he speaks the real in every lyric he leaks.
For me "DB Tha General" is like a breath of fresh air, in a time of stale rappers making slappers. He's his own dude, and aint trying to impress you with nothing but his lyrical talents. If you don't like it, believe me you're gonna love it. Once you hear "DB Tha General" he will be "Yo Favorite Rapper" making hood to hood slappers.
"DB Tha General" started slinging rhymes at the age of 8, and certainly doesn't lack for confidenceor skill. He receives a sizeable degree of acclaim for his two gritty, street-smart albums "Welcome To Tha Navy" and "Yo Favorite Rapper".

I know the "Dominionaire" is almost a year old, but with the release of some new videos, I thought it would be cool to feature his album for some of ya'll who haven't heard it yet, but are seeing the videos.
What I like, is the all 22 tracks are inspired by a Psalms or passages from the Bible.
Plus peep the last video that talks his "CAJO University", which gives you could kids 12-18 the opportunity to be critiqued, shaped and molded with their talent, rather they're a rapper, singer, dancer, producer or preacher.

Why a double disc? “It had been so long since I had a project out," Jones explained. "I had so much music I wanted to release. In fact, you’d be surprised how many songs did not make the album. We settled on these 22 tracks because they were the best ones to represent me at this point in time, where I am in my life.”
The music on Dominionaire, explained Jones, “goes from hip hop to R&B to what we call R&P – ‘rhythm and praise’ – to jazz. There’s straight praise and worship, even a steppers' groove! There’s something on the CD for the entire family.
“I make CDs for the family,” Jones added. “So if parents have children who are listening to the music, I want them to enjoy the experience as well. I don’t want it to be like, ‘Mom likes it but the kids don’t,’ and vice versa. We want it to be a family experience," Jones laughed, "almost like Disney!”
On the origin of the album's title, Jones explained, “Dominion is the name of my son. We named him Dominion because when my wife was five months’ pregnant, the doctor said that his heart stopped beating. At that point, we took authority over the situation. We said, ‘Our child isn’t going to be like this.’ We took dominion over death and sickness, invoking the words of Jesus Christ.
“We added the ‘aire’ to Dominion to give it that quartet feel. My dad, who sang quartet with the Nobleaires, went on to be with the Lord last year. The title in part pays respect to the quartet movement. But it also has that prestigious feel of having an abundance of dominion.”
The two-CD set features a lineup of major gospel talents, including Deitrick Haddon, James Fortune, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson and Mr. Del. Jones' wife and mother are also among the guest artists. “A lot of people pitched in to make this project happen,” Jones replied.
The first single from Dominionaire, “Window,” is already impacting radio. “People need to hear something positive, they need something to look forward to,” Jones explained. “The song simply says, ‘I see a window over your head and it’s pouring out blessings.’”
Most importantly, the thematic content of Dominionaire is in step with the worship warrior movement heralded by groups such as Shekinah Glory Ministry and worship leaders such as Phil Tarver. In a nutshell, it’s taking a proactive position over the forces of evil.
“Dominion is the theme, taking dominion, taking authority, taking over because of the authority you have in Jesus’ name,” Jones said. “On ‘Be Healed,’ you take dominion or authority over sickness. There’s a song called ‘In Da Club,’ where you take dominion over a club where Christians wouldn’t be allowed, or at least they definitely wouldn’t be dominant.
"On the song, ‘That Devil,’ the line goes, ‘if anybody sees that devil, tell him I’m after him.’ Some old songs say, ‘the devil thought he had me, but I got away,’ meaning you were being chased by the enemy. ‘That Devil’ states, ‘if anyone sees the enemy, tell him I’m after him.’ It’s a different mindset from being somebody who’s kind of passive as a Christian to somebody who walks in dominion, in authority, like God told us to.
“In the proactive mode, you make things happen,” Jones continued. “You take charge of the situation you are in, and you don’t necessarily wait until you are attacked. So, for example, before there’s a need for healing, we claim health. That is a proactive instead of a reactive mentality. That’s what Dominionaires are. We’re coming to take over and recover all; we’re not necessarily going to keep fighting the enemy off. We’re going to squash the enemy until he goes away!”
The album encourages listeners to have confidence in their role as children of God.
“If we realize we are sons and daughters of God,” Jones said, “then we will have more confidence in our ability to ask Him for what we want and need. People are familiar with ‘God will supply all your needs,’ but they are also familiar with ‘The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.’ In other words, He’s going to eliminate your wants AND give you what you need.
"For example, my child may do something bad in school or be reprimanded by her teacher, but she’s still going to have food, she’s still going to have the best clothes, all of the best that I can supply her with because she is my child. She may have to go to bed early or something like that, but she will still get everything she needs simply because she’s my child."
What advice does Jones have for new and emerging artists?
"I tell artists, 'you were born with a distribution deal: that’s your right leg and your left leg.' You have to be aggressive. You should distribute the truth to as many people as you can, and if you are faithful over a few, God will make you ruler over many. When you’ve done all you can, passed out as many CDs as you can, and sing as many places as you can locally, then God will see that faithfulness and take you to the next level. You can’t be a superstar overnight. Before you go across the world, make sure the person across the street knows who you are."
Now that their new CD has hit the stores, Canton Jones and his team are preparing to tour Germany. A Dominionaire tour is in the works for March and April of this year. “This generation is dying and they need hope,” Jones said. “We want to give our young people the truth and the truth will make them free.”

"Rick Rock" is a cool @ss dude that I went to Armijo High School with in "Fairfield, CA". I was a freshman, when he was a senior. I had one class with him and he was crazy. Even though he was short, I thought he was so cute.
Back then he told "yo mama jokes" and was the resident "beat boxer". I even think back then he was break dancing and rapping, too.
He was hella popular and friends with my brother (Leo Wright) and friends with my son's father, (J-Bone) and I've never heard anyone have a bad word to say about him, EVER. So, when he made it, it made a city proud, it made the "Bay Area" proud.
"Rick Rock" has been platinum and gold record producer since 1994, and still make'n it happen and keep'n us clap'n. His name might not be out there like other producers names, but that doesn't take away his catalog of fame. "Rick Ross" continues to be one of the most reliable and employed West Coast rap producers of his time. His first record on a major label was "Gamers" remix by the "Conscious Daughters", but "Change The Game" with "Jay-Z" was nominated for a Grammy.
"Rick Rock" began based out of (707) "Fairfield, California" (Bay Area), but has since moved to "Sacramento, CA" but still claims "Fairfield" as home. In the early years of his career "Rick Rock" was aligned closely with "E-40", where he began earning major credits in 1996, when he contributed tracks to "2 Pac" on "All Eyez On Me" & "40's" "Hall Of Game". In the years to follow, he cranked out productions mainly for West Coast rappers like "Keak Da Sneak", "Spice 1", and "Xzibit". Don't get it twisted, he was globally talented and he even worked with mainstream artists like "Will Smith", "Fabolous", "Mariah Carey", "Method Man", "Busta Rhymes" and more.
"Rick Rock" eventually signed a contract with Virgin Records to present a group of his own, called "Federation", who debuted in 2003, releasing the single "Hyphy", whose title would soon become a "Bay Area" movement. "WIth Rick Rock beats, yea, fella's I'll rock it".
Now, dropping his solo project, "Rocket", the producer/rapper has come full circle. He gives props and credit to another "Fairfield" super producer "Mike Mosely", for introducing him on the scene, and showing the do's and don'ts to be successful as a producer. Still having aspirations of doing more, "Rick Rock" would like to work with "Lil Wayne". Notes his favorite producers are "Dr. Dre", "Timbaland", "Neptunes", "Pete Rock" and "DJ Premier". The artist who left the most lasting impression is "Left Eye", because she was extremely smart, talked sh*t, and had views on issues that were real unique.
What's next for the super producer? Only he knows, but rather it's in front or behind the mic, it's gonna be tight!

Its my pleasure, to introduce this "West Oakland" treasure, Rapper "Anomosity" Of the "P Coat Mafia", and a member of the "Real Talk Movement". With his ($$) Hollo Tip Flows ($S) over beats, its no wonder why he's been dubbed as "the next voice of the streets".
What I like about "Anomosity" is that he actually has something to say. Not since the age of "Tupac" has a "Bay Area" rapper dared to be different. Dared to make a difference and rap about real issues other than "Pimp'n", "Hoes" & "Dough".
Yes, he's controversial, yes, he's hardcore with his lyrics, but you're gonna love it when you hear it. But, at the same time he's gonna educate your mind and entertain your behind. He's versatile, with a street and political style.
After living a portion of his life going in and out of jail and prison, in 2005, "Anomosity" came to the realization that he was quickly heading towards a dead end. "Anomosity" made the decision to completely transform his life so he could be there for his family.
Through his music, "Anomosity" took the lessons he learned from the streets and turned them into a positive and knowledgeable message, that he delivers in your face at a rapid pace.
"Anomosity" tries to serve as a source of inspiration and wisdom by keeping "GOD" first and keeping "GOD" as his source of strength. He exudes and embodies a philosophy of hope, and remains focused on redirecting misguided youth, to help them see the brutal realities of the street, and to work hard in achieving all of their goals, because they ARE worth it.
"Anomosity's" career is just starting to take off and the future is full of endless opportunities. Along with his "P Coat Mafia" he's working on CD production, in the close future.
He feels blessed to have such a versatile team, which he launched, within "P.CoatMafia" (I.N.C.) and is using their versatility to his advantage, to take over the rap game and make a change.
"Anomosity's" debut 19 track album "Prizonology_Political Affiliation" is available on iTunes, and he is currently working on his first mixtape "Ain't No Beat Safe".
The future is looking bright for "Anomosity", who is driven by a wonderful purpose, along with everyone supporting him, the possibilities are endless!
Smarter than your average rapper, "Anomosity", wants to do more, be more and have more, so he plans on enrolling in school after completion of his mixtape to study business, and music marketing. Eventually he would like to star in a movie that he co-writes and co-produces.
Even though he is a dreamer, "Anomosity" is a credible illustration proving that if we continue to keep "GOD" first and make the right choices,for the right reasons,....anything is possible.

Born "Demar Bernstein", in Vallejo, Ca in 1979 and later host to the name "Turf Talk". Growing up in Pomona at the age of 3 years old, lead "Turf Talk" to a lifestyle of gang involvement and hustling. Due to his actions, he faced lots of trouble and became expelled from school.
His parents chose to home school "Turf Talk", and during this time, he began to emulate the rappers by writing his own verses. He soon learned that he had a talent for writing music.
As his cousin Earl Stevens AKA E-40, Danell Stevens AKA D-Shot, Brandt AKA B-Legit and Tenina Stevens AKA Suga-T were building The Click. This group ultimately became the foundation for "Sic Wid It Records" .
"Turf Talk" admired the ambitions of his Northern Cali Family and had early aspirations to join the First Family of Rap.
After living in hotel rooms for four to five years, "Turf Talk" returned to Vallejo in (1999) and began to pursue his rap career.
Upon returning to school, "Turf Talk" was encouraged by family and friends to enter a school talent show: where he would become the Grand Prize Winner. It was from this point forward that he had confidence enough to ask E-40 for his assistance.
Originally rapping under the name "Killa Kane", "Turf Talk" would first appear alongside Mac Shawn, another younger cousin of E-40, on the compilation CD "Worldwide Bosses" & "Playas" (2001). His breakthrough came in (2003) performing the hook for the "MTV"-aired E-40 track "Gasoline", (B-side) to the single "One Night Stand".
On July 30, 2005 The Champ hit the stage when the MC called his name as the winner of "The Rookie of the Year" at the B.A.R. Awards on July 30, 2011 at the Masonic Center on Nob Hill. The competition included Bay Area Rap Artists: Vital, Mark D, Mr. Tower, YA Boy, Mistah FAB, Nasty Nate and Dem Hood Stars.
In the booming "Bay Area" Hip Hop scene, "Turf Talk" has achieved the championship belt. The man behind hits "Its ah Slumper" and "Sav Out" and his colab with "The Federation" on "Hyphy" is noted all around the region, even in New York.
In the early hours of July 14, 2005, "Turf Talk" suffered several shots to the face from a low caliber pellet shotgun, after being apparently targeted leaving a recording studio in Vallejo. He was treated at the Sutter Solano Medical Center and made a quick and full recovery.
"Turf Talk" would go on to appear on three tracks on E-40's (2003) album Breakin News as well as cement his growing reputation in the Bay Area's new movement by guesting in style on the official remix to The Federation's hit "Hyphy".
In (2004) "Turf Talk" released his highly anticipated debut album "The Street Novelist" featuring his mentor E-40, The Federation and a range of Sick Wid It Records' artists. The CD included the Rick Rock's produced smash "It's Ah Slumper" and one of the final guest appearances of Mac Dre.
In (2006) "Turf Talk" secured further exposure by appearing on E-40's Billboard 200 success story "My Ghetto Report Card" as well as MTV's "Hyphy Music Insight My Block: The Bay". His influence on the "Hyphy" movement was featured in Hip Hop magazines "The Source" & "XXL"
In the summer of (2006) "Turf Talk" extended his cross-genre, national and international reputation after being invited to feature on the DJ Shadow V music video alongside Keak Da Sneak , as well as a supporting role in a tour of Europe and Japan.
The tour climaxed with a performance in front of over 25,000 at the Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park on June 23. "Turf Talk" appeared alongside Bay Area emcees Mistah Fab and Nump, in a line-up which included Massive Attack, Pharrell, Gnarls Barkley and Damian Marley.

"Young Sir" is an up and coming "DMV"-based hip-hop artist with a large and growing fan base. "Young Sir" recently released his debut mixtape, "DA RECOGNITION" which has created a significant buzz and some industry recognition. He is presently working on his second mix tape to be released soon.
Lyrically known as “Young Sir”, "Taj Jamal Diggs" was born June 1990, in Baltimore, Maryland but his family eventually relocated to the Washington, D.C. area. "Young Sir" graduated from high school in 2008 and is presently a college student with a focus in journalism. Since childhood, "Young Sir" has been commended on his ability to write. From an early age he has had a desire to express himself and that his voice be heard.
Raised in a Muslim environment where respectfulness and good manners were strongly encouraged, he was certain to address adults as “Sir” or “Ma’am.” When elders asked a question of him, his answer always began with “Yes/No, Sir” or “Yes/No, Ma’am.” Because this was a rare practice amongst his peers, it earned him the nickname, rap name (and now alter ego) “Young Sir.”
The music gene did not bypass "Young Sir" who was introduced to most, if not all, musical genres by his grandmother, who is a music teacher/choir director/pianist/harpist and former N.C. A&T drumline drummer. Consequently, "Young Sir" developed a keen ear for music. He was about 6 years old when he practically taught himself piano. His self taught playlist consists of approximately 2 songs (that he traditionally reserves to play at all holiday dinners). But it was hip hop that captured his consciousness.
Entering DuVal High School in 2004, "Young Sir" became and remained throughout his high school tenure, a member of the marching band where he played the drums. “We thought how perfect his choice of instrument,” says "Young Sir’s" grandmother, “since it was noted early on that he marches to the beat of his own drum.” It was his experience of playing at games, city concerts and parades while in the band that he acquired the “bug” to perform for large audiences.
"Young Sir’s" mother co-founded, in 2005, a unique and innovative music production club at DuVal High School that taught students the fundamentals of the music industry including performing. A group of very talented lyricists emerged out the club and were infamously dubbed “Da Beat Club” of which "Young Sir" was an acclaimed artist. It was through “Da Beat Club” that "Young Sir" received local recognition and exposure (through radio, cds, and tours).
In 2007, "Tru Identity", a newly formed Go-Go band comprised of 9 young and gifted musicians tapped "Young Sir" to infuse a hip hop flavor to their Go-Go sound. "Tru Identity" played in several venues throughout the D.C. Metropolitan area. The group disbanded, however, in the summer of 2008 as several members graduated from high school and moved on to different life pursuits.
With a growing fan base and reputation, in 2008, "Young Sir" made a decision to begin his solo quest as a hip hop artist. "Young Sir" is noted for his apt freestyle ability, creative lyricism and edgy flair. He has finished working on his first mixtape "Da Recognition" and has penned several singles that have been popularized on his MySpace page (www.myspace.com/youngsir18) which boasts over 470,000 views.

Let me just say when I first heard "Rebel Gang", I became an instant groupie. I'm always down to see young dudes, doing something. They have the opportunity of the lifetime and they are fully taking advantage of it.
It started with a group of young friends from Atlanta’s inner cities; a group of friends with undeniable musical talent who from a young age recognized the potential to collaborate their unique sounds and abilities. Known for always drawing a large crowd while outside making music, these self-proclaimed “rebels” knew it was time to begin making their mark in hip hop. Ramel “Gusto” Crenshaw, Desmond “Rico Cash” Morris, and Jordan “Chip” Holt-May officially became "Rebel Gang" in 2006 while they were still in high school. In 2010, after taking time to focus on academics and athletics, "Rebel Gang" was introduced to Russell “Big Block” Spencer, CEO of Block Entertainment Worldwide through "Gusto".
The minute "Block" heard their music and collaboration he immediately put them to work in his world renowned Atlanta studio. “Each member brings a characteristic to the table that makes them undeniably the best group collaboration to come out of Atlanta since Outkast,” explains "Big Block". “This is the new music of Atlanta, the new young bloodline of Block Entertainment.”
Their chemistry as a group is very unique and each of them brings a different sound to the booth. There’s "Gusto", who although grew up in the Atlanta’s Kirkwood neighborhood, writes with a laid back West Coast feel. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Eazy-E, Lil’ Boosie, and label mates Boyz n da Hood, "Gusto" is able to change his voice into five different rap styles.
Add "Rico Cash", whose tough life experiences growing up in College Park, Georgia serve as motivation to write real “Southern Spits" with an up "North style”.
Combine that with "Chip" from "East Atlanta" and his new age sound that mixes both his rap and vocal abilities, and you have a group of talented young rappers set to take the hip-hop scene by storm.
Despite being a part of "Block Entertainment Worldwide" less than a year, members of "Rebel Gang" have already performed at multiple Atlanta clubs and venues, entertaining audiences with a new and refreshing sound in the local rap scene.
Videos for promotional songs “Rebel Gang N*****z” & “Make it Rain Remix” are taking the internet by storm. They have made frequent appearances on the Atlanta’s top radio station and their debut single, “Like Dat”, continues to be requested to rotation by fans.
When I first heard these dudes, I swear I wanted to be down with their crew, cuz I love how they do what they do. Oakland dudes, The "Trunk Boiz", are best known for their hit songs "Cupcake No Filling", "Scraper Bikes", "Don't Act Like A B*tch".
