Squad Music Group artist "Tab Danger" describes his style as a mix of Bow Wow + Justin Bieber + Tupac Shakur = Tab Danger, which pretty much covers it artistically, from all angles.
With this eclectic artistic mix, is how "Tab" can come from a cute "Disney" type track like, "Hey Cinderella", to two dope tracks like "Coke" & "Missing Out".
"Tab Danger" notes his musical influences as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Biggie Smalls, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley and Big Sean, and it's easy to see where he gets his versatile style, which will keep him relevant and prosperous, in the rap industry, for a long while.
What I like about "Tab Danger" is that he raps his age. He raps about what he knows. He's not pretending to be something or someone he's not. His lyrics speak for themselves and they speak loud and clear, that "Tab Danger" is here. I like that teenagers have someone age appropriate that they can relate to and listen to, someone who's on their level and dealing with their issues, and not getting influenced with grown folk issues. "Tab Danger" is a perfect conglomeration of street swag, wrapped in a good boy bag, <<I like it.
"Tab Danger" is a prodigy who first gained notoriety in the "Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation's" Oakland camp. Like other gifted artists, such as 2Pac, Michael Jackson and Eminem, 'Tab Danger" used music as a way to shield himself from a difficult childhood which seen him live in several Foster Homes and battling Type 1 Diabetes.
At the age of nine, "Tab" moved in with his father who encouraged him to express himself in the arts. This led to him joining his schools Performance Arts Academy, performing in the theater while honing his skills in Youth Movement Records Freestyle class and culminating with a rousing performance at Grammy Day San Francisco 2011.
It quickly became apparent that the time has come for "Tab Danger" to break out on his own. Song's like "Missing Out" showcases his ability to appease hip hop purists with witty lyrical ability, while "Hey Cinderella" is an example of how he can also swoon the ladies with lines like "Hey Cinderella" don't listen to them fellas who say that dreams don't come true forget what they tell ya". The song led to many opportunities for "Tab Danger", from performing at the Super Bowl Festivities in Indianapolis, to performing a few dates with Poplyfe from "Americas Got Talent". With an ear for music and a competitive instinct to work on his craft, "Tab Danger" is no longer waiting for his chance to stand in greatness.
