"Oakland" Rapper "Yukmouth"
To Reform Their Group "Thug Lordz"
With New Album "Thug Money" Sacramento's own "C-Bo" teams up again with Oakland's own "Yukmouth" to bring some more of what we've been missing in the rap game. This is not their first collaborative effort as the group known as "Thug Lordz", first collaboration was in 2004, when they released "In Thugz We Trust" which scanned over 30,000 units. Then on their second album legendary Bay Area rapper "Spice 1" joined the group for their second album in 2006's called "Trilogy". "C-Bo" and "Yukmouth" have recently announced the release of their third album in the "Thug Lordz" lineage called "Thug Money" in stores September 28th.
"Thug Money" is set to be released on September 28th. "Thug Money" will find the CEOs of "West Coast Mafia" and "Smoke-A-Lot Records" get'n it in once again with former "Death Row" Records artist "Eastwood" and "Yuk's" folks "Tha Realest", along with "Ampichino". Featured on "Thug Money's" first single "Wake Up" is none otha than "The Bay's" rap hustler "Tha Jacka".
Even though they have been quiet in front of the scenes for almost 5 years, "Yukmouth" and "C-Bo", are now and will always be both regarded as "West Coast legends", but "Yukmouth" & "C-Bo" don't have to plead too hart for their respect in the industry or in the streets, but still express that sometimes it just might be better to not wake up.

A new voice for those who excel despite the obstacles. Born to a 14 year-old mother and a 17 year-old father City P., born Rob Sherman, is no stranger to turmoil. The 24 year-old grew up without either parent due to drugs and incarceration. Raised by his maternal grandmother, a 22-year dialysis patient, City was taught the importance of perseverance by example. His grandmother passed of a heart-attack when he was 12. She never heard him rap. After the death of his grandmother, City was thrown into a whirlwind, bouncing from home to home and city to city. What would have been an excuse for most people to fail became city's motivation to succeed. He focused on his academics and sports while leaving music on the back-burner. After completing high school and beginning college, music was almost lost, but another tragedy brought City back to the booth. On May 7, 2004, City's younger brother Ray " Diddy" Bass was gunned down near his home San Francisco. He was 17 years old and expected to graduate the next month. The previous week, City met with Ray at a local studio and discussed working on a project together. It was the last time he would see his brother alive. Determined to see his brother's dream fulfilled, City immersed himself into his craft. Researching and applying styles from all regions and even spending time in Atlanta to further his cause. Now, years after the death of his brother and armed with catalogue of over 150 songs, we find City rapidly climbing up the ladder of success. We had the privilege of running into the talents of the one and only Lucki Sta. We try real hard to bring you what you have never heard with a flavor that you've never tasted. Well, here he is! Lucki Sta unites soul and rap with with an urban appeal and delivers it all with the precision of a well seasoned artist. His debut mixtape "Runway Fly" that was released in July 2009 was hot as hell, and yet and still it was just an inkling of what this young man is capable of.
