"Lil Wayne's" Covers "Vibe's" Nov/Dec Issue
Look'n King Of The "Pirate Pimps"

Aaarrrg! "Lil Wayne" covers the Nov/Dec issue of "Vibe" look'n like a gay pirate pimp. (lol) Usually I'll ride for "Wayne", but this look got me shook.

VIBE: You say competition is for the “old guys,” but it sounds like you’re going at Jay-Z with that line, “I got your baby money/Kidnap your bitch, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady money.” Are we looking at it the wrong way?

LIL WAYNE: I know for a fact, music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. If I know that for a fact, I can never be upset about someone’s reaction to it. I’m not gonna say I don’t know what will happen before I say it [on record]. I do know what will happen. I am aware of it. It is what it is.

VIBE: You mentioned how humbled you were at the success of “She Will.” Drake, who wrote and performs the song’s chorus, has now become a platinum star in his own right. Do you look at the guy and say, “Wow, I helped create a monster, I have to stay on my toes”?

LIL WAYNE: I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe. But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss.

Kicked Off An Irish Farmer's Land
During Video Shoot For
"We Found Love"

"Rihanna" was filming on the set of her new video "We Found Love" in "Ireland", as she was walking through a field, she took off her top
dressed in a red kerchief bikini bottom and jeans and ran topless through his field

The farm's owner, Alan Graham, got a clear view of "Rihanna's" chest, and was not impressed.

"I felt it was inappropriate," said Graham, 61, from Bangor, County DownThe farmer, immediately got upset and put a stop to the filming.

‘I requested them to stop filming and they did,’ he said. ‘I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I’m coming from. We shook hands. I didn’t know who was coming. If the name Rihanna had been mentioned, well no disrespect but it wouldn’t have meant anything.’

From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate. I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God".

(RIP) "Ol' Dirty Bastard's
"Return To The 36 Chambers
Re-Released As Wallet Box

Twitter: @getondowntweets

"Me and Mariah, go back like baby's with pacifiers". So, "Wu-Tang" co-founding member, (Russell Jones) "Ol' Dirty Bastard", who died at the age of 35, is having his iconic solo debut album, "Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version", re-released.

The re-release will be packaged as a one-of-a-kind deluxe box set. The re-issue .will be accompanied by a number of rare, limited edition, and value-added goodies, and will be available for purchase on November 22 via burgeoning imprint Get On Down.

"The Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version" Wallet Box includes a re-mastered double CD that includes original album as well as remixes, acapellas, instrumentals, and other rarities. In addition, there's a vintage "On Tour" poster, extended artwork, promotional sticker, detailed liner notes, and an exclusive billfold wallet, where you will be able to put your complimentary laminated Ol' Dirty Bastard food stamp card. "We all knew that if we were going to do this, we had to include a physical version of that card, there was no other way to do it," explains Get On Down General Manager, Rob Reilly. "We really wanted the packaging to compliment the creative genius that is Ol' Dirty Bastard."

For Get On Down, it was important to make sure that the special edition transcend all types of fans. "The box set," claims Reilly, "is a collector's item for people who aren't even collectors." Get On Down, the self-proclaimed "music imprint for music nerds by music nerds," has released and reissued over 50 albums, such as GZA's Liquid Swords and Muddy Waters' After The Rain. But crafting this "ODB" box set holds a special place in their heart. "We firmly believe Dirty was an icon," says Rob Reilly. "There is truly no way anyone will ever be able to emulate that style of his. The rap game just is not the same without his presence."

"Ol' Dirty Bastard's" "Return To The 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version" Wallet Box Set will be available for pre-order at UndergroundHipHop.com, and more information and pictures can be found at GetOnDown.com.

"Canadian" Rapper "Saukrates"
Drops The 1st Of A 3 Part Album Series
"Season One"

"Saukrates" ft. "Redman
"Drop It Down" (Official Video)

Twitter: @BiggSoxx

Canadian hip-hop veteran "Saukrates" is excited to announce the upcoming release of his new album, "Season One". The album will be released in three parts; the first and second parts will each contain three songs and the full album, which will contain the first six songs plus six new songs will be released the first quarter of 2012. The first part contains the songs "Drop It Down" featuring Redman, "Say I," and "Na Na Na" is available now through a joint partnership between Frostbyte and eOne.

"Saukrates", a Toronto-native who played an integral part in shaping much the country's hip-hop scene, made the transition from childhood violin prodigy to serious MC in the late 1990s. He met close friend Redman in 2000, and by 2005 had been featured on How High soundtrack with Red and Method Man, produced for the likes of Nas and Kardinal Offishall, and toured with fellow Canuck Nelly Furtado on her 2006 Loose Tour. And before Young Money fame, "Saukrates" was showing Drake the ropes, introducing him to other soon-to-be famous artists like Toronto producer Noah "40" Shebib.

"Saukrates", who has long contributed to the meteoric rise of his Canadian cohorts, is proud to release his own upcoming album, "Season One". Much of the production comes from both "Saukrates" and his Toronto comrade Rich Kidd, who also produced Soxx' single "Say I," which was recently used in Nike's Always On 24/7 campaign. Featured artists on the trilogy's first installment include Redman, OB O'Brien, Michelle Nyce, Richie Hennessey and Andreena Mill

Says "Saukrates" of the album, 'I've gone back to the basics... sharing simple melodies and interesting stories is what I've always done best and enjoyed the most. When it calls for collaborations I let that happen naturally. Friends and associates I've been anxious to work with and vise versa make it easy to accomplish my 'lofty' ideas!"
